(England)
A FORMER Scout leader missing from home since New Year's Eve has appeared before Swansea magistrates to face allegations of more than two dozen child sex offences. Stuart Harris was last seen leaving his Clase home in the early hours of January 1, but this was no ordinary missing person case, the court was told. He had travelled to the US and, using a false name, had got work as a male nanny. Yesterday he appeared before city magistrates to face a string of charges including possessing indecent photos and sexual touching.
Lisa Rawlinson wept as she recalled hiring nanny accused of killing her baby. She had spoken to her by phone and the nanny seemed to have a ton of experience. But later, Miss Rowlinson became concerned about the way the nanny was treating her son. She said: “She seemed very distant. There was no eye contact.” (!!!) Hear the accused nanny's 999 call here.
Missing Covington Baby Found Safe In Westwood (Ohio)
An undercover Cincinnati police officer spotted the infant and her babysitter, Britney Bumgardner, around 3 p.m. Tuesday afternoon at the Kroger store on Harrison and McHenry in Westwood. 9News was the only station there as the 18-year-old suspect placed the baby inside a car seat in the back of a Cincinnati police cruiser. She was then arrested on an outstanding warrant and taken in for questioning for the report of the missing baby.
