Questions Remain About Fatal Pittsburgh Fire
Pittsburgh Police say they are beginning to doubt the existence of a 17-year-old babysitter named Lashawn Smith or Lashawn Smithfield from the Shetland area that one of the mothers said was watching the children. Neighbors have been calling police to tell them that the reported babysitter doesn’t exist.

Charges Filed in Baby's Death
A Dallas County woman will be in court later this month, facing charges of child endangerment resulting in death. Medics were called to Tammy Ray's home on December 8th of last year. When they arrived, they were unable to revive a baby in her care.

Baby's Death Probed
Henry County Sheriff’s investigators are looking into the circumstances surrounding the death of a baby on Tuesday. Jayda Danyelle Easley, 1, died after it was found she was having trouble breathing at a baby-sitter’s house, according to a release from the Henry County Sheriff’s Office.

Police Investigating Suspicious Death of Toddler, Babysitter Led Away in Handcuffs
A 2-year-old little boy was found unresponsive at a Frayser apartment complex in Memphis Tuesday night. Paramedics later pronounced him dead at the scene.It happened about 6:15 p.m. at the Whitney Manor apartments. Police are calling it a death investigation. They aren't commenting on the condition the toddler was found in, but they say the circumstances were suspicious.
