Caregiver Charged With Abusing Baby
A 16-week-old baby underwent brain surgery Thursday while his caregiver faces charges of felony child abuse and first-degree assault. Forty-six-year-old Lauree Turpen is accused of shaking Keagan. Last week, when Keagan's mother came to pick up her children from Turpen's home, she says she heard yelling.
