N.J. Babysitter Sexually Assaulted in East Harlem
A New Jersey woman was allegedly sexually assaulted in an East Harlem apartment building Tuesday morning. Police say the 34-year-old woman works in the building on 105th Street between First and Second Avenues as a babysitter.
Babysitter Gets 25-35 Years for Murder
A judge Tuesday sentenced babysitter Chantal Randall to 25 to 35 years for the murder of a 17-month-old girl in August of 2006. Prosecutors say Randall beat and killed toddler Rosie Clarke after the girl pulled her hair. Randall admitted to child abuse resulting in death; she also said she tried to cover up what happened by trying to make it look like Rosie had choked on a quarter.
