Toddler's Babysitter Leaves Town
The babysitter who was caring for Myrtleford toddler Daniel Thomas when he disappeared is thought to have left the north-east Victorian town after the discovery of human bones under the house she once shared with the boy's mother. Police were this morning called to the Lawrence Street weatherboard cottage, which Daniel's mother, Donna Thomas, and Mandy Martin rented together when the toddler was reported missing five years ago.
Burglar Ties up Brentwood Babysitter
A Brentwood babysitter was assaulted and restrained by a burglar who broke into a home Monday morning, Suffolk Police said.Police said Cecilia Mendoza was babysitting her twin 3-year-old nieces when an armed, heavy-set burglar entered the home and confronted them.
