The Aunt said Jed fell out of the highchair. But police say she lost her temper and shook Jed so hard it almost killed him. “We didn't put him in daycare because we thought he was safer with family, who's supposed to be safer than your family?”

While babysitting, Rabecca Nelson, 23, "violently and forcefully" shook the young girl and held her upside down by her ankles, authorities say.The babysitter has been charged with critically injuring an 8-month-old girl by shaking the child when she would not stop crying, authorities said. Rabecca L. Nelson, 23, had routinely babysat the girl and her 3-year-old brother in her home for the past two months, said Gerry Luce, spokesman for the Laramie County Sheriff's Department.
