Dr. Dayrl Steiner and coroner Dr. George Sterbenz pointed the finger at Marsha Mills but it turns out that they did it to cover up their own mistake. The child was given the wrong type of blood in a transfusion at Akron Childrens Hospital upon arrival but they harvested the child's tainted organs and used them in transplants before discovering their mistake. They hid this fact from the court in Marsha Mills' murder trial to stave off multiple lawsuits from Noah's parents and the tainted transplant victems families.
