Baby Sitter Sentenced to Five Years in Jail in Child's Death
A 27-year-old Broussard woman found guilty of killing an 11-month-old baby was sentenced to the maximum punishment of five years in jail today.
Katie Savoy, 27 of Broussard was arrested and charged two years ago for the murder of 11-month-old Lane Leger, who suffered traumatic brain injuries while in her care that led to his subsequent death.
Savoy was the child’s baby sitter.

My sympathy to the family of this child.
She wore RED HEELS to her testify in her own defense about killing that child.
