Family of Dead Infant Speaks Out

TROY, NY - Friends and family gathered at the Uncle Sam Lanes for a bowl-a-thon to raise $3,200 for the Cails, a family who have lived a nightmare after learning their 2-year-old son Christian was placed in a tub of scalding bathwater. His longtime babysitter, 24-year-old Chastity Pasinello of Waterford has been charged. On Oct. 1, Christian' Cail's mother Becket Cail received a phone call at work from Pasinello informing her that Christian had suffered very bad burns. Both Becket and Dillon Cail, Christian's father, rushed to the hospital. Christian was transferred to the Westchester County Burn Unit where the Cails spent weeks, refusing to leave their son's side. Christian suffered second and third degree burns on his feet and the family was in a state of shock.
