Babysitter Accused of Abducting Boy
An 18-month-old Newark, N.J., boy believed to have been kidnapped by his babysitter last week has been found unharmed in Maryland, authorities said Friday.
Authorities found Shelvon Torrence, 21, of Irvington, N.J., and the baby by tracking the woman's cell phone calls, said Special Agent Sean Quinn of the FBI's Newark office.
Torrence was arrested in Baltimore while trying to board a bus with the toddler in tow, said Detective Todd McClendon, a Newark police spokesman.
