Sex-Assault Babysitter Gives Birth, Misses Sentencing
A Halifax-area woman convicted of sexually assaulting a 12-year-old boy she was babysitting had a good reason for not showing up for her sentencing Friday.
Pamela Ruth Collins, 40, gave birth to a baby earlier this week, Justice Margaret Stewart was told in Nova Scotia Supreme Court. The baby is not the victim’s, defence lawyer Peter Mancini told reporters outside of court. (Read More).
