Las Vegas Child Seen on Video Tape Was in Care of Sitter When Rape Took Place
Attorney Jerry Donohue called the woman "a typical American single mother" who worked six days a week and was "trying to be 'supermom.'" He said the abuse appeared to have taken place about four years ago while the child was left in a baby-sitter's care. Donohue said he knows who the babysitter was when the mother believes the girl was attacked, but could not reveal that information because of the police investigation. (Read More.)

Police arrested a baby sitter Tuesday after a child in her care suffered severe burns from scalding bathwater. Chasity A. Pasinello, 24, was arrested after a 31-month-old boy in her care ended up in the hospital with second- and third-degree burns to both feet. (Read More.)
