East Hartford Teen Spared Jail in Child Rape Case
The mother of a little boy who was raped by East Hartford teenager Louis Moreau said the plea deal that spares Moreau prison time is "ludicrous." Moreau, 17, pleaded guilty Tuesday to a single count of risk of injury to a minor in Hartford Superior Court.
Moreau was a babysitter for the little boy and his older sister when in the winter of 2005, the boy told his mother Moreau had held him down and assaulted him on several occasions.
