Quebec Babysitter Sentenced For Corrupting Minors
SHERBROOKE, Que. - A babysitter accused of inducing minors in her care to take drugs, drink alcohol and participate in lewd acts was sentenced Monday to 18 months in jail.
The 35-year-old is alleged to have committed the acts between December 2006 and April 2007. "The gestures and their repitition suggests a depravity on the part of the accused," said Quebec court Judge Conrad Chapdelaine in rendering sentence. "The use of children to satisfy her instincts is heinous behaviour.
